About the Event

REGISTER by phone 707.267.9801 or email info@hospiceofhumboldt.org.    Space is limited.

This free two-hour online workshop will explore the impact of grief, the pandemic, and  the holidays, exploring ways to cope and find meaning during this  difficult time as well as how to support grieving friends.

Grief  can be incredibly painful, and it often requires a great deal of  community support. The pandemic has made receiving these supports more  challenging and has contributed to feelings of stress, overwhelm, and  aloneness.  The holiday season can be especially difficult for people  grieving, as grief impacts some of the central purposes of holidays-  connection, meaning, family, or spirituality.

There will be time for questions, discussion, and a short writing exercise.
